For the rest of us, blog posts are just something to skim over while we're waiting for the bus or killing time at work. We'll scroll down, glance at the headlines, maybe read the first paragraph or two, and then move on to the next shiny thing that catches our eye.
So if you're a blogger, don't take it personally. It's not you, it's us. We're just too busy and too easily distracted to give your blog posts the attention they deserve. But keep writing anyway, because who knows? Maybe someday we'll have a little more time on our hands, and we'll actually sit down and read all those blog posts we've been ignoring for so long.
